Facts about the Cheshire Lowland Search and Rescue Team

This site aims to let people know what the aims and objects of Lowland Search & Rescue are.

Cheshire Search and Rescue Team does much the same work as a Mountain Rescue Team but as there are no mountains in Cheshire the Team is a "Lowland" Rescue Team.

Cheshire Search and Rescue Team are on call 24/7 every day of the year.

No charge is made for the Team's services and every member is a volunteer.

The Team was formed to assist Cheshire Police and other Emergency Services in missing person searches or major incident support.
